Course:

A remote and rugged classic point to point course traversing the Siskiyou; Mountains Range in Southern Oregon. Starting in Williams, OR the course winds it way east to Ashland, OR on a mixture of single track trail, dirt road, with less than 4 miles of pavement. The course boasts over 20,000ft of climb and 20,000 ft of loss with 3 epic climbs to 7,000ft and fantastic views of Mt Shasta and Mt McLaughlin.

Awards:

Special awards to overall male and female winners. Buckles to all 100 mile finishers. Special buckle for sub-24 hour finishers

Time Limit:

34 Hours; Runners must be through Dutchman Peak aid station by midnight of the first night.

Aid Stations & Drop Bags:

14 Fully stocked,  We will be providing SUCCEED! products for electrolyte replacement (S! Caps). There will be a limited number of GU packets at each aid station.

Please leave your drop bags in the designated area near the start on Friday and race morning so we may transport them to the aid stations. Drop bags will be returned to the start/finish area by 4pm on Sunday.

Pacers & Crew:

Pacers are allowed from Dutchman Peak aid station (mile 60). Crews will be allowed at designated aid stations.

Further details will be added to the site including driving directions to each accessible aid station. Notification will be sent once these details are available online to runners currently registered. We will also be sending out a printable race packet to our entrants list during the month of August.

Entry & Return Policy:

Entry fee is $225 before 7/15/10, $275 before 9/1/10, $300 thereafter. Your entry fee will also include one ticket for the Friday night pasta dinner and free camping at the Williams Grange.

Conditional refunds will be honored only if there is a runner to take your vacated place. If the race does not fill or we do not have runners on our waiting list, we will not be offering refunds. There will not be any rollovers to next year's race. Please notify the race director by phone or email by the following deadlines to ensure your refund request. A full refund will be available until July 30th. A 50% refund will be available until August 30th. No refunds after August 30th.

Registration:

Online registration only, through UltraSignUp.com.  Entry will be strictly limited to the first 200 applications.  Any applications received after the race is full will be added to a waiting list in the order in which they were received.

Race Rules:

We are guests of the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest and must follow all rules. Any violation of these rules will be grounds for disqualification from the race:

1. All pets must be kept on a leash.
2. Littering is strictly prohibited.
3. Runners must stay on designated trail at all times.
4. Runners must be respectful of all volunteers and park staff

Schedule:

Friday, September 17th – Williams Grange, Williams, OR.

3:30pm-7pm - Packet pickup. Receive your goody bag, bib, and race tee.
5pm-7pm - Pasta dinner. One meal included for each registered runner. Crews, pacers, and family are welcome to join by purchasing a $5 ticket at the door.
5:30pm - Race Briefing from the race director and medical volunteers.

Saturday, September 18th - Williams Grange, Williams, OR

5am - Packet pickup resumes.
6am - Race starts. Make sure to bring a light!

Sunday, September 19th – Pioneer Hall, Ashland OR

6am - 24 hour cutoff for sub 24 hour buckles.
4pm - 100 mile / 30 hour cutoff, race ends.

Pre-Race Dinner:

A pasta dinner will be served on Friday evening from 5-6:30pm at the Williams Grange. All participants will receive one meal ticket for this dinner. Additional tickets for friends, family, crews and pacers will be available for purchase at the dinner for $5/each.

Weather:

The average high temperature is 84 degrees F with an average low of 43 degrees F. Record highs have reached triple digits. Be aware that the entire course is relatively remote. Be prepared for hot, sunny weather during the day and cold nights.

Camping:

Tent sites are available at the Williams Grange next to the start line. All camping will be free of charge this year! There will be port-o-let bathroom facilities. There will be plenty of camping spots available.
